He has served on numerous non-profit boards and his innovative human resource programs for the developmentally disabled have been the subject of ABC\, CBS and NBC news magazines as well as a Health and Human Services documentary. In 1986 He successfully lobbied Congress for changes in laws related to the hiring of the disabled and was honored for his work in a ceremony in the Oval Office by President Ronald Reagan.  \nHe has taught the college-aged class in Sunday School for over 50 years\, and currently teaches the online college class for The Mother Church\, The First Church of Christ Scientist in Boston Mass. He is the current First Reader at First Church\, Christ Scientist\, Newport Beach.  \nChristian Science Nursing has been a passion for Mike\, He is active on the Valuing the Christian Science Nurse subcommittee for the Association of Christian Science Nursing\, and has served on numerous Christian Science Nursing Boards. He has written frequently for the Periodicals and became a Journal-listed Practitioner in the healing ministry of Christian Science in 2020. Mr. Mooslin resides in Newport Beach with his wife Nancy. They have two children and five grandchildren.
