Are You ready to take the First Step? @ Norwalk Community College: The Gen Re Forum on East Campus

Enrique Smeke will talk about
the first step we need to take to solve any problem

 

When you are in a difficult situation, the most important and first step toward a solution is turning to God for help.

Enrique will share ideas from the Bible about our connection with God, a connection that leads to solutions. He’ll also talk about some of the practical spiritual tools we can use to find those solutions to any problem.

This talk will be given in The Gen Re Forum on East Campus at Norwalk Community College at 2:00 pm.
The same talk will be given in Spanish at 3:30 pm.

Enrique Smeke, CSB was raised in Argentina. His studies include telecommunications and journalism in Argentina, and Business Administration in the United States. In 2007 he became a Christian Science practitioner and in 2012 a Christian Science teacher. For a number or years, he was the host and producer of the Radio Edition of The Herald of Christian Science in Spanish, and managing editor of the Spanish Herald magazine.

He still finds strength in reading how Bible characters overcame all kinds of challenges: war, famine, corruption, hatred, disease, and sin, to name a few. He has seen the same healing power found in the Bible operating in his own life and since 2010 has been a Christian Science Practitioner, devoting his life to helping others find healing. He lives in St. Louis.

Enrique Smeke, CSB, nació y se crió en Argentina. Sus estudios incluyen telecomunicaciones y periodismo, en Argentina, y Administración de Empresas, en los Estados Unidos. Phillip Hockley, CS was severely injured in the early 1990s and several years later was regsitered as “physically handicapped” with no hope of recovery. But that set him on a path investigating every alternative and spiritual method he could find. While attending a Christian Science lecture, he was completely healed of all his health problems. He now is a Christian Science practitioner and helps others find healing through turning to God. He makes his home in St. Louis, Missouri.
