José de Dios Mata will discuss the healing power of divine Love

José will explore the Biblical basis of relying on God, divine Love, for healing. He will talk about Jesus’s approach to health care and how we can follow his example.

He will share examples of healing that resulted from prayer and a deeper understanding of God as divine Love based on the teachings of Christian Science.

José de Dios Mata, CSB is originally from Spain. As a teenager his love of music led him to study guitar with a focus on flamenco. Because of a serious illness which traditional medicine could not cure, José became interested in and was healed by Christian Science. In 1986 he moved to the United States to devote his life to healing others as a Christian Science Practitioner. In 2009 he became a Christian Science Teacher. He and his wife divide their time between Spain and the United States.
