Welcoming Christ this Christmas: Biblical Role Models

December 24, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us for a joyful and inspirational Christmas Eve

Madelon Maupin will share fresh new ways to celebrate Christmas in your heart.

7:00 pm Music by Rebecca Minor, Gwen Eagleton, & Erin Williams
7:30 pm Talk by Madelon Maupin

At Christmas time we naturally think of the baby Jesus, the Old Testament’s prophecies of the Messiah, and how the world was forever changed with his birth.

This talk looks at the groups and individuals who recognized the uniqueness of Christ Jesus’ arrival and what they can teach us today about welcoming the Christ into our hearts and lives.  We learn that neither gender nor economic standing has anything to do with this receptivity, opening the way for Christ to touch everyone’s heart.

This talk is in English and will be simultaneously translated into Spanish.
It will also be live-streamed at thirdchurchnyc.com.

Please join us for an exploration of Matthew and Luke’s Gospels with their distinct birth stories and how the individuals they describe are Biblical role models for all of us.

The talk will include a visual presentation as well as a handout.

Please come and bring your friends.
